HAUL CEO Named CO-Chair of Mayor's Economic Development Transition Team

Houston Area Urban League (HAUL) President & CEO, Judson Robinson, has been named Co-Chair of the Economic Opportunity Transition Committee selected by Mayor Sylvester Turner to study employment and small business issues in the City of Houston, specifically in undeserved communities. 

Mr. Robinson says, "It's an honor to work with these business leaders from across the region and to make recommendations that will create opportunity for all, including the undeserved populations of our city, that is often forgotten about. This effort further supports the mission of the Urban League ."  HAUL Board Member, Gilda Ramirez, and Branden Morris, owner of Basal Solutions and tenant at HAUL, also serve on this committee.

The committee is scheduled to provide a report and list of recommendations that will presented to the Mayor, by March 31st.
