On December 13, 2025, at 6:00 PM, the Houston Area Urban League (HAUL) will host the 2025 Equal Opportunity Day Gala (EOD), celebrating 57 years of HAUL service to the Greater Houston community and individuals, corporations, and organizations that have given and continue to give service, resources, and time to help marginalized communities in the Greater Houston Area. These outstanding individuals, corporations, and organizations exemplify selfless public service dedicated to assisting those in need. This event will be held at the Hilton Americas Hotel.

This year’s Equal Opportunity Day Gala Chairs—Morris & Toni Mooney Smith. As philanthropists, visionaries, and champions of the community, their passion and leadership will illuminate an evening dedicated to celebrating purpose, progress, and possibility. Morris is the Vice President of Public Affairs Communications and Sustainability at Arca Continental Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages, while Toni serves as the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Texas A&M University-Galveston.
