CenterPoint Energy is looking for an Associate Electric Engineer to join our Electric Engineering Team, located in Houston, TX.
You will have the ability to: provide technical support and coordinate activities relating to the continual improvement of operations and maintenance practices in support of the CenterPoint Energy.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Work effectively with customers and clients to deliver products that meet or exceed their expectations.
- Understand and anticipate clients needs and pro-actively seek solutions / helpful information.
- Stay current regarding industry and business issues. Understand and apply this knowledge.
- Assist with the administration of databases containing test result data including – SQL Server, Powerbase, RTS, DTA, SERTS.
- Provide tech support to field personnel for test equipment apparatus software and commissioning procedures. May include providing after hours assistance in the field.
- Prepare written documentation and presentations on technical issues. Requires investigative skills, knowledge of substation operating systems and technical writing skills.
- Complete complex assignments in a timely manner.
Your background includes:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
