NRG Park
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include the following:
- Perform repairs and maintenance on all golf carts and pickup trucks owned and operated by ASM Global NRG Park.
- Perform regular scheduled maintenance on vehicles and maintain maintenance and repair log.
- Oversee repair and maintenance service contracts, as well as daily use checklists by ASM Global NRG Park staff.
- Oversee golf cart pool and check in and out procedures.
- Maintain an inventory of spare parts for vehicles.
- Operate equipment, such as light trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, access lifts, and tire changing machines or other light power-driven equipment.
- May occasionally have to enter areas where fumes, airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals are present. Work at heights using correct safety equipment.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
- Assist with Roof Control duties and maintenance.

Qualifications

- Inventory management and budgeting experience.
- Welding and metal working skills an advantage.
- Be familiar with operational procedures, facility capabilities, industry terminology, event-related services, and technical requirements for the types of events anticipated at the facility.
- Know general techniques in plumbing, carpentry, and building hardware maintenance and electrical/lighting systems.
- Follow and adhere to all safety precautions, building codes, rules, regulations, risk management and emergency procedures.
- Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results.
- Meet the physical demands of the job. Must perform strenuous physical duties at times, including lifting, carrying, moving, and climbing.
- Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written forms.
- Maintain an effective working relationship with employees and others encountered in the course of employment and adhere to the ASM Global codes of conduct.
- Work extended and / or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Education and/or Experience
- High School diploma or GED and one to three months related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least (3) years’ experience in repairing and maintaining vehicles, including but not limited to basic servicing, diagnostic testing, overhaul of engines and transmissions.
Skills and Abilities
- Work independently, exercising judgment and initiative.
- Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics.
Computer Skills
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office and knowledge of database work order systems and advantage.
Other Qualifications
- Be licensed to operate a motor vehicle in the United States.
