Basic Qualifications:• High School Diploma or GED• Valid Driver’s License
- Must satisfactorily demonstrate ability to climb poles within two weeks after selection.
- Must successfully complete all physical job tests, including any tests required to obtain a Commercial Driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass Company medical evaluation and must be able to distinguish colors, have depth perception, and be able to hear instructions or warnings from a person stationed on construction equipment.
- Must be able to endure strenuous physical exertion and have the dexterity to utilize hand and power tools.
- Must have the ability to lift, push, pull and lower loads manually and using blocks and rope.
- Must have the ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and kneel for long periods of time.
- Must have the ability to reach and work over head for long periods of time.
- Must have the ability to work from aerial devices up to 200 ft.
