Tonight, Marc H. Morial, President and CEO of the National Urban League will honor special guests during the Whitney M. Young, Jr. Gala.

 

HOUSTON, TX – Tonight, Marc H. Morial, President and CEO of the National Urban League will honor special guests during the Whitney M. Young, Jr. Gala.

The black-tie event is a continuation of the National Urban League’s 4-day conference that will take place in the George R. Brown Convention Center.

Honorees expected at this evening’s gala include Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, 

Congressman Al Green and Harris County (TX) Commissioner Rodney Ellis.

The Whitney M. Young, Jr. Awards Gala celebrates the voices and commitment of those championing the Urban League’s mission to empower Black communities around this nation. Honorees
