HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE TO RALLY ON CIVIL RIGHTS, GUN SAFETY, WOMEN’S RIGHTS AND ECONOMIC JUSTICE AS NATIONAL URBAN LEAGUE KICKS OFF 2023 CONFERENCE IN DOWNTOWN HOUSTON

On the heels of recent life altering decisions handed down by the Supreme Court and a looming Presidential election, the National Urban League will launch its 2023 Conference with a rally centered on the nation’s most pressing issues including civil rights, gun safety, women’s rights, and economic justice.

HOUSTON, TX –  On the heels of recent life altering decisions handed down by the Supreme Court and a looming Presidential election, the National Urban League will launch its 2023 Conference with a rally centered on the nation’s most pressing issues including civil rights, gun safety, women’s rights, and economic justice.

 

The rally will feature a range of notable speakers on these issues, including National Urban League President and CEO Marc H. Morial, Houston Area Urban League President and CEO Judson Robinson, Harris County Attorney Christian D. Menefee, Houston City Council Member Tiffany D. Thomas.
